9/11 Memorial

Fort Morrow Fire Department’s 9/11 Memorial is composed of a 16-foot-long, 2,300-pound steel beam from the World Trade Center, New York, NY.

The Memorial was dedicated on September 11, 2011 – 10 years after the attacks. Each year since then, the Fort Morrow Fire Department and community members have gathered on September 11th to continue to honor the fallen heroes. 

The Memorial is open to the public year-round. No reservations are required.
