Downtown Marion, Inc. has unveiled its newest community art project, “Art Alley,” located between 141 & 147 S. Main Street in Historic Downtown Marion.

This vibrant new space is the result of collaboration between local artists, community partners, and supporters who share the vision of bringing more color, culture, and creativity to the heart of Marion.

As part of the new project, visitors are invited to take part in a playful community challenge: “Where’s the Cardinal?” Each mural includes a hidden or symbolic cardinal, tying the project back to Downtown Marion’s Cardinal Project, a public art initiative created in collaboration with the Marion Community Foundation.

Community members and visitors are encouraged to explore Art Alley, find the cardinals, and experience firsthand the creativity and vitality that make Downtown Marion unique.
