Terradise Nature Center and Romine Residence
The Terradise Nature Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located along the Olentangy River, just south of the quiet village of Caledonia, Ohio. Rich in history and natural features, our mission focuses on wildlife education, conservation, and research. We aim to inform the community about the Terradise Nature Preserve, the Olentangy River, and the surrounding wetlands and forests. There’s a lot happening at Terradise these days, so come out for a visit! Hike the trails, fish in the pond, watch a beautiful sunset, and engage in some scientific exploration!
Property Rental:
Visitors also have the opportunity to rent the quaint residence situated on the property left by the late Ray and Trella Romine. This charming two-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath home, complete with a full kitchen and living area, fulfilled Trella’s dream of living “on a hill, in the woods, by a river” when it was completed in 1953. Renting this house offers a unique experience for a peaceful getaway, all while being within earshot and eyesight of the Olentangy River.
