STEAM in the Snow – Fun with Physics & Engineering

This is another wonderful example of how crafting and play can be used to teach concepts like physics and engineering! Kids will use a variety of materials to build miniature sleds and learn about how friction and force affect the way their sleds move down a (mini)snow ramp.

This program is made possible through a partnership with Bre Napper, from The Ohio State University’s Biomedical Engineering program.
