Sensing Nature: April Artists-in-Residence Presentations with Vicky Tabor-Branson and Steve Roseberry

Join us on Saturday, April 27th from 4-6PM for a belated Earth Day celebration with Terradise Nature Center’s two amazing April Artists-in-Residence through our Terradise Environmental Arts Residence. The two artists are writer, journal-maker, and listener Vicky Tabor Branson, and woodworker, carver, leatherworker, sculptor, and “recycled art” pioneer Steve Roseberry – both of Marion! Steve and Vicky will share insights from their month in residence with us, explaining their residency projects and processes, and providing an opportunity to see their work and explore our property up close!

Vicky’s work will explore the power of creative writing in documenting natural soundscapes and noise pollution, along with tips about creating handmade journals to document our outdoor experiences. Steve will share his journey pivoting from creating a dioramic shadowbox of the Terradise winter landscape to creating custom artist birdhouses for the Terradise property!

Come explore “sensing nature” with us at Terradise Nature Center! The event is free and open to all, including well-behaved, leashed pets. The event will be held outdoors at the Romine Residence lower parking lot.
