Description: Join the Lifewise 5K Walk and Run! Whether you’re an experienced runner or just looking for a fun way to get some exercise while supporting a great cause, this event is for everyone. The race will take place at Prospect Park and will begin promptly at 9 am. Participants aged 5 and older are welcome. Age brackets will be categorized every 10 years, and medals will be awarded for first place in both men’s and women’s age groups.

The registration fee is $25. Children aged 12 and under can participate for free. Registration is available by clicking the link below or can be completed in person on the day of the race from 8-8:45 am. Drinks and refreshments will be provided after the race.

All proceeds from the 5K will benefit the Elgin Local Lifewise program for the 2026-2027 school year.
