A beautiful Colonial Revival Home, headquarters of Marion Women's Club.

Visit with us to get a glimpse of Women’s History in this beautiful Colonial Revival Home built in 1903. The property is on the National Park Service Historic Registry and is a part of the Ohio Historical Marker Program.

The home and the archives, dating to 1895, tell the story of the impact of Women in Marion County and of the generosity of Shauck and Ida Barlow. Mr. and Mrs. Barlow built the home and bequeathed it to the Marion County Federation of Women’s Clubs in 1945.

Stately columns. A sprawling, curved front porch. Three stories of exquisite craftsmanship surrounded by beautiful trees and framed with an iconic wrought iron fence. Step inside the Marion Women’s Club Home where women worked tirelessly to improve our community while leaving a lasting legacy. You’ll discover a home filled with history, passion, hard work — and stories that demonstrate the Club’s impact on the local, state and national level.
