In 2016, her novel, The Perfect Find, won the African-American Literary Award for Best Fiction – and garnered rave reviews in The Washington Post, Essence, Cosmopolitan, People, Ebony, and InStyle. In 2023, the film adaptation starring Gabrielle Union debuted on Netflix.

Her novel, Seven Days in June, was an instant New York Times and USA Today bestseller, as well as Reese’s Book Club pick for June 2021 – and a TV series adaptation is in development with Will Packer Productions. Her upcoming novel, A Love Song for Ricki Wilde, publishes on February 6, 2024. Tia lives with her daughter and husband in Brooklyn.

Join us for an evening of learning more about the author’s books, and her writing journey.
