Memorial Day Parade
The Memorial Day parade will step off in Downtown Marion at 10am on Monday, May 29. The parade route runs south on Main Street onto Delaware Avenue and ends at Veterans Memorial Park for a ceremony. The park is located on the southwest corner at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Vernon Heights Boulevard. Please bring lawn chairs. The ceremony is expected to begin between 10:45 and 11am.

The property is on the National Park Service Historic Registry and is a part of the Ohio Historical Marker Program. The home and the archives, dating to 1895, tell the story of the impact of Women in Marion County and of the generosity of Shauck and Ida Barlow.
