Five nuns decide to perform a fundraiser variety show at a local high school – watch as the nuns’ personalities clash as they all fight for the spotlight and discover the importance of sisterhood as they get closer to reaching their goal. The twist is, in what’s been described as “Mrs. Doubtfire enters the Convent,” all the nuns will be portrayed by men, adding another layer of hilarity to the show.  Cocktails and pre-show dinner in the May Pavilion. Family Life Church will offer an Easter egg hunt on April 8th at 10 AM. This event is for all children up to 12 years of age. The egg hunt will be held at the church campus: 2209 Marion-Waldo. Rd. The Harding Presidential Sites Annual Waffle Breakfast is the unofficial celebration of our busy summer season, when hundreds of visitors from all over the country come to marion to learn about president and Mrs. Harding. The event is held at the new Harding presidential museum & library, 355 E Church St.. in Marion. We use Florence Harding's waffle recipe and several home-made toppings (strawberry and blueberry syrups, for example), and the President's favorite --- chipped beef and gravy! This is the most complete Vietnam War collection of memorabilia in the State of Ohio, containing thousands of items. It covers every aspect of the war and the troops that fought it.  Contents include:  21 full size mannequins dressed in authentic American uniforms, North Vietnamese, Viet Cong, and South Vietnamese uniforms; various American and Vietnamese weapons, a POW cage just like those used to hold POW in the jungle; a Vietnamese doll display; a beautiful Vietnam culture display; a Vietnam toy collection, and much much more. It's a "you have to see it to believe it" museum.

Small changes result in big impacts and our friends at the Eco Center are providing an opportunity for education and entertainment with Earth Day activities on Saturday, April 22 from noon-4pm. Presenting (drum roll please) History Alive - Under the Big Top! Plan to experience the thrills of sideshow entertainment under the big top tent at Heritage Hall in a carnival atmosphere reminiscent of days gone by.
