Junior Service Guild Presents: “Breaking the Bingo Commandments”
This is Junior Service Guild’s bi-annual fund raising event. Written by Julia Vanderhoff and Ann Schertzer “Breaking the Bingo Commandments.” The play is a murder mystery/comedy. The setting is a Bingo Tournament where the audience will be participating in Bingo games along with the tournament players throughout the evening. The event begins at 6:15 p.m. with a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres and silent auction. The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $40 each. Hope for Tomorrow – Walk for drug prevention
Support the Hope for Tomorrow Walk for Drug Prevention being held Saturday, August 27 at 10:30am. The walk begins and ends at Epworth United Methodist Church, 249 E. Center St., Downtown Marion. To receive a walk t-shirt with your registration, pre-register by August 1st ($20). Walkers may also register onsite for $15 (does not include t-shirt). Participants are asked to secure pledges and support as the event is a fundraiser. To acquire a registration form, contact Marion-Crawford Prevention Programs at 740-914-6444.
