Join us for the relaunch of this popular scavenger hunt-type activity.  Pick up your playing card from the Visitor Center at 198 West Center Street Monday through Friday from 10a-5p. The instructions for the game are on the playing card. You'll find manned and unmanned locations to discover.  At manned locations, see the staff or volunteer to have your playing card validated by them. Kids are invited to read with a canine companion! Josie is a Goldendoodle that loves to hear stories, and kids can take a turn reading to our lovable furry helper in the story time room. Reading to animals is a great way for kids to practice their skills in a supportive and calm environment, without fear of judgement or expectation.


Weave Your Own Rainbow

Kick off Pride month with this fun woven project! We provide the loom, warp thread, and yarn colors, and you get to have all the fun of creating a rainbow of your very own. Rainbows can be left on the wooden frame for display, or pulled off to be sewn onto bags, turned into necklaces, and so much more. Class fee includes all your supplies, a wooden rainbow loom for you to keep, and instruction. 20% of each registration sold will be donated back to the Marion Area LGBTQ+ Coalition
