Marion was nominated and selected to participate in the Strongest Town contest for 2025.  As one of 16 communities selected to participate, Marion is the only Ohio community in the competition.  Would you help us bring home a win for the Buckeye State?

This contest does not look for the places that are doing things perfectly, but the places that prioritize making progress. Like many small communities, Marion is built on strength—not perfection, but continuous progress.  The Strongest Town Contest highlights communities that are resilient in transportation, housing, and public finances—all things Marion has been working to improve. This is our chance to share our story and celebrate our progress.

Over the next five weeks, will you help Marion bring home the win by casting a vote for us?

Here’s How You Can Make Marion the Strongest Town:

  1. Vote for Marion each day (Monday-Thursday)
  2. Please go to StrongestTown.com to cast your vote. It requires a valid email address and a simple click to cast your vote.
  3. The voting deadline for each of the five weeks is 11 AM Eastern Time every Thursday for your vote to count.
