Ages 12+
Design your own stoneware pottery! Join us for a fun evening and create a unique piece of pottery to use at home. In this class, guests will choose to pick from a variety of pottery items such as mugs, plates, or bowls. We have over 50 glazes to choose from create a one of a kind item. Stoneware glazes react to each other when they reach peak temperature making each item unique! This means there are hundreds of combinations you can make from our glazes. No artistic ability is needed. Guests will be given thorough instructions on how to apply these specialty glazes.
Stoneware is so versatile! It is dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. All stoneware will be kiln-fired at our studio. Our glazes are food-safe.
All supplies are included in the class. Glazes are water-soluble.
Requirements: Participants must be at least 12 years old or older. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Location: This class will be held at The Sweada Mae Art Cafe 287 W. Center St. Marion, OH
Pickup: Your pottery will be fired and may be picked up 7 days after the class.
