Learn to create a thriving container garden! Whether you have a small balcony, a limited backyard, or simply want to add a pop of color to your home, container gardening offers a practical and rewarding solution.
MPL welcomes Delaware Master Gardener, Connie Emerson, to:
• Educate participants on the basics of container gardening, including suitable containers, soil selection, and plant choices.
• Discuss different types of foliage and designing pots for shade vs. sun
• Demonstrate proper planting techniques and ongoing care practices.
• Explore a variety of container gardening projects, from growing herbs to cultivating beautiful flowers.
Participants will leave with inspiration and ideas to create personalized container gardens to beautify their spaces all summer long!
