Litter and Invasive Garlic Mustard Clean-Up
May 30 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Free
Join Keep Marion County Beautiful, Marion County Parks and other partners in a fun adventure of environmental stewardship!
Learn how to identify invasive species such as garlic mustard and how to appropriately remove it so it doesn’t continue to take over. We will also pick up litter along the Olentangy River! (Not required to get in – but if it is low enough you might want to bring your rain boots or waders just in case!)
Keep Marion County Beautiful will provide the litter clean-up tools, gloves, & bags. With Marion County Recycling & Litter Prevention’s grant with Ohio EPA, participants may take home a reusable tumbler and help spread awareness about choosing to reuse and avoiding single-use waste.
We hope to see you there!
