The Ohio State University at Marion and Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen have partnered to offer a new lecture series entitled Lectures on Tap.  On the second Tuesday of each month, Ohio State faculty and other experts will share the latest research and scholarly information on timely subjects from the environment, astronomy, agronomy, health, linguistics, crime, and much more.  The lecture goal is to bring the campus and the community together in casual open discussions about timely and interesting topics.  Tuesday, January 14, is the inaugural lecture featuring Assistant Professor of Physics, Dr. Chris Orban, who will speak on the science behind an unforgettable year in backyard astronomy.  Attendees of January’s event will be entered to win a $50 gift card to Bucci’s and an Ohio State memorabilia basket!  Purchase dinner and a drink, and join this free lively casual presentation/discussion.
