Prerequisites: Students in this class need to know how to cast on, knit, and purl.

- Sunday, November 10th & 17th – 12:30pm
- PLUS you’ll receive one session of drop-in help when you’re ready to complete the top of your hat
Have you taken the beginning knitting class and feel ready to take on something a little “more”? Try this winter hat! Students in this class will learn:
- Knitting in the round on circular knitting needles
- Following a stitch pattern
- How to decrease stitches and use double-pointed needles
- (Optional) Creating a pompom or how to attach a faux fur pompom
Materials and notions required:
- Worsted weight yarn
- 16″ circular knitting needles in size 5/3.75mm and size 7/4.5mm
- Double-pointed knitting needles in size 7/4.5mm
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry/darning needle
For yarn choices, we suggest picking Deluxe Worsted, Berroco Remix, or Cascade Cherub Aran. As a student in this class, you can purchase your materials in-store and save 20% on your materials!
