BRAVO-Youth Talent Competition- at The Dock at Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen

Welp… We planned to take 12… but this talent made that impossible.  After watching every audition, we knew we had to make room for more. So we did.  We’re proud to announce the 19 incredible young artists selected to compete in this year’s BRAVO! Youth Talent Scholarship Competition!  Representing schools from Marion and surrounding counties, these students are bringing their passion, creativity, and courage to the stage.

INTRODUCING YOUR 2025 PARTICIPANTS:

Roman Bracy-Malcom, Ruby Styer, and Stella Johnston

Here’s how the competition will go down.
The competition takes place every Wednesday for the next 6 weeks! Shows start at 6:30pm at The Dock at Bucci’s and are free and open to the public!

Round 1 – April 16 & April 23
Performer’s Choice 
All 19 contestants perform over two nights. No eliminations—just the raw talent on full display.

Round 2 – April 30 & May 7
The Eras Challenge – Sponsored by Marion Technical College 
The Top 12 performers will be randomly assigned an era (like the 60s, 80s, or 2000s) and will create a performance inspired by that decade.

Round 3 – May 14
Coaches Week 
The Final 6 are paired with mentors for a coached, performance-focused round.

Round 4 – May 21
Grand Finale 
Final performances and awards night. One last chance to wow the judges—and you!

How scoring works:
Performers are judged out of 60 points across the following categories:
• Skill & Technique
• Creativity & Originality
• Stage Presence & Confidence
• Entertainment Value
• Effort & Preparation
• Crowd Connection
Audience support makes up 25% of the total score, so your cheers, energy, and votes absolutely matter!
