Apple Butter Stir and Horseradish Day at Lawrence Orchards

Join Lawrence Orchards for the annual Harvest Saturday where we will be making apple butter and horseradish. The fire will be lit under the big copper kettle early in the morning and filled with apples, cider, sugar, and cinnamon. Continuous stirring will take place until we complete the canning process. The apple butter will be available in the market around 3:00 pm and will still be warm.

The horseradish grinding will begin around 9:00 am and should be available in the market by 10:00 am. The horseradish usually lasts about a week or two in the market.

A Schmidtz Sausage Truck food truck will be available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
