The Marion County Historical Society will present first person portrayals program inside Heritage Hall. Courageous participants explore the dimly lit museum with flashlights, meet historic personalities and discover many new things about the past as they travel among exhibits throughout the historic 1910 era Federal Post Office that spring to life to tell their stories. Some of the characters have been the 121st Ohio Volunteer Infantry Soldiers which roam and tell their story of the many battles they have fought showing and explaining their muskets and knives. Gypsy Queen, Cleo roams the halls and local legend says she was the head of a tribe of Brazilian gypsies and died in Marion County near Meeker in 1905. Meet Annie Oakley, The Gardner Sisters, Chief Plenty Coups, Lucy Webb Hayes and more.
